No beating here... Legitimate question... give me a second

Here is a link for the thread... Basically MGW is a manufacturer of a short throw shifter... Hurst, Barton, MTI and others are out there....

I've compared my MGW to a Barton, have never had the chance to compare it to a Hurst, and it is in my opinion, far superior to the Barton.....The Barton is good, but, it uses the stock Chevy housing and you basically change the stick out... Lots of people love it... The Hurst is the same... With the MGW, you get an entire new machined housing with centering springs... There is a picture of it in the link included below... It was worth every cent I spent on it and it gets better all the time...The stiff centering springs are loosening up to the point of perfection as far as I am concerned...

Welcome to the Den Desmo I like your likes

MGW makes a cool short throw shifter! I like that it's the entire unit, not just the connecting rod piece like the Hurst short throw that I have...

Howdy MJ,

I haven't had the chance to drive a Camaro with the Hurst, but I know lots of people have and love them, I'll never bad mouth them or Bartons, but I really like my MGW...

Thanks.
Like what I see here, too. My car is completely stock at the moment, but that will start bothering me soon. I've been wrapped up with bikes for quite a while, and figure its time for a change. Look forward to discussing what upgrades work for other folks!

Appreciate the info on shifter options. I've done some research on the Hurst shifter, but wasn't aware of the other aftermarket choices out there. Thanks, I'll check them out.
