AMF is shutting down 4 cylinders...also, can all the stock mufflers and go aftermarket, as suggested above.

Enjoy the anticipation & planning!

PS - thanks for the kind words about my Baby I am having fun (and going broke) modding her!
Thanks Michael. OK 2/2 votes for aftermarket exhaust. Sounds like the right deal for me.

Then you'll need a new CAM and the exhaust, for the rumble!! After warranty expires...

Can I get the exhaust I want (that wouldn't void warranty?)... then later get this thinga-ma-bob you call a "CAM" ?

Yes, the exhaust fine. CAT-back is especially fine Where yo ulive, you can even change the CATs to high flow ones...later on you can do a CAM but then you start getting into warranty issues. Anything you replace - outside of GM doing it - is no longer under their warranty. So, if your new muffler falls off, don't be taking it to GM for service - that's kind of the point.

you're safe with the exhaust. So many mods, so little $

lol... I see that.

I've found a ton of add-on's. Everything from magnetic oil plugs to some kind of thing that circulated something and reduced wear on piston thingies. Except for exhaust... I'm probably better off sticking with cosmetic stuff until I understand more about engines.

Stay away from anything that says... "Guaranteed better gas mileage!" or, "More horsepower, only $29.95!"

Yes! the oil catch can was what it was called... saw that one. And the fender you mentioned is the one with the (false) vent by the wheel? I think one photo had it painted with orange flames.
