A clutch sweetie will last a long time unless you do outrageous burnouts all the time....I replaced a pressure plate once in my cobra...but Iam not the origional owner...Ihad a rear seal leakn that got on the plate....manuals arent a big deal.....far less expensive to up keep than an auto...auto has eight trillion parts that all move...very specialized...

All auto tranys are sold and repaired by Ben Dover.

OK... so I know you've been driving a manual trans forever, and you don't need to think about shifting... But do you loose track of what gear JB is in when you go to shift? It was hard for me to know what gear I was in just by looking at the position of the shifter..

You better check ,but Iam not sure the trany is covered by the 5/100000 warranty....where they stick us is thats ONLY INTERNAL ENGINE PARTS...is what the business agent told me when me bought it.
The ngine control module isnt covered after 3/36....and it cost three grand..unless the man was blowin smoke you know where.....

So neither transmission is covered by warrenty? What do you mean by the "engine control module"?

to be honest.......every since the six speeds came out, sum times I screw up to darlin...really ,ya just pay attention to the sound and look at the tach....actually 6th gear you dont use until highway speed...these have a 3 45 rear end (watch it !) so it isnt a big deal...this car is very efficient...it will run up to 28mpg on a short jog on the highway. When you are in traffic, you dont have to hit every gear either...as long as the rpm is up a little you can shift up..its very easy to drive..it is very fine tuned gear wise...love it !

But that doesn't tell me what gear I'm currently in!
