There will be a 300lb difference, at a minimum, between the V8 Mustang and the V8 Camaro even after the heavier 5.0L debuts.
and will still be slower...nuff said

In all seriousness, the return of the 5.0L GT is a really great thing for Ford. Ford gets to have a classic displacement back in a new car. On the flip side, it weighs more than the current engine. Whatever Ford's goals in weight are, the Mustang will gain against them. It is inevitable.

Other economic factors may also come into play (ie:fuel prices) that will affect all pony/muscle cars. Next year is going to be a very cool year for all muscle car fanatics!!!
You might be right, but the release of the Camaro will affect how many 05-08 mustangs start showing up in used car lots....

I know, in fact that is my nickname for it. I don't pretend my car is something its not. Still enough to beat on some V6 cars though. Including the base mustang.

Lol don't go biting off more than I can chew. You are probably thinking of the 08 SS/TC or the 05-07 SS/SC. I own the 2.4L SS/NA.
