Uhm, we do have them in Texas,

There are not too many of them, but they are present... They're like coyotes, you may never see one but they are still around... When I was guiding hunters in the Texas Hill Country, we occasionally saw evidence of them and I know of several of them that were trapped...They are still found in West and South West Texas as well....

Some refer to them correctly or incorrectly as cougars or pumas or panthers...

EDIT: oops, read it correctly this time... Loin's... got it...

Like those stories about large black cats that aren't suppose to be around anymore.

They get spotted in Ohio a few times a year.

they've spotted a few around here too. They thought one got out of the circus or something but there's more than one. One attacked someone last year and the person shot it to get it off of him.... Now he's got a big fine and is behind bars for killing an endangered species.... Go figure. I talked to the wildlife officer that went to where it happened and he said he got chills when he saw it there, it was just a really strange feeling seeing something that "doesn't exist".

Just like bigfoot, it isn't real but if you shoot one you goto jail.
They passed a special law just for that kinda of stuff that isn't real.

Though jiggin for giant squid is ok?

Even though they know it will die if brought on board with a big hook, its not killing it per-say.

So if you can get bigfoot to swallow a hook; your all good

That's why I'm going to use my tazer on Bigfoot when I find him ofcourse it might just make him mad and then they'd probably get me for animal cruelity for shocking it.
