Look guys...by all professional accounts, the R/T is about a half second slower than the SS in the 1/4 mile. By ALL accounts. I drove em back to back....hell my friend owns a damn B5 Chally Classic, and my L99 slowly but surely walks him. Each time, even when we switched cars. Case closed.

SRT8 or R/T Challenger, neither has broken into the 12s bone stock. Camaros are doing it quite frequently. And the SRT8 has been out two years longer than the Camaro. How is that "neck and neck"?
