i got a sense of 'group therapy' from all those positive comments u put up there GTA lol.

personally i was always a mustang fan (60's and the '05+ mainly) i grew up in a 68. never paid close attention to camaros specifically, although i loved all muscle cars. As soon as saw the new camaro and read the 'estimated specs' at the time - i was sold!

Some Mustang owners pick on Camaros. Some Camaro owners pick on Mustangs. It's just like some people who drive stick pick on those who drive automatics. I think it makes some people feel better about their own choice of car and makes them feel like part of that clique. Personally, I think it's juvenile and I don't like to fall into that mentality. I didn't like it in grade school and I still don't care for it now. I prefer to be inclusive not exclusive. We all drive muscle cars and love them.

Tongue in cheek post guys, but there is some truth to it. If you check out any of the Mustang forums most of them seem to be bashing Camaro owners and their cars. They seem to spend an inordinate amount of time Camaro bashing -vs- posting informative information.

I think the members of Camaro5 are much more tolerant of Mustang owners and actually try to include them in posts instead of bashing them because they own a Mustang.

I agree that most of it is simply human nature, like Cleveland Brown's fans that hate my Steelers...LOL.

I guess you haven't read alot of the posts on here.. seems to be much hatred towards mustangs and Challengers on here....Some of us just like the Camaro more, and don't really care if someone has a Mustang or Challenger... it's whatever you like that counts.

when i used to attend grudge match days at the race track I always knoticed one thing about mustang owners. they have alot of excuses. about 95% of the time if i was up against a modded gt or a bullit or mach 1 in my supra or mr2 they always did alot of talking crap, then the tree lights up and if they lost they always had excuses. " if that car didnt have a turbo..or i dont have my drag wheels on, or im not tuned properly ect ect." really got annoying. however i knoticed alot of chevy guys had much more respect at the track (even on the street). if i blew away an ls1 camaro or t/a they usually shook my hand and praised my car. and likewise if a chevy blew my doors off i did the same. Ive had way more chevy guys say "man id love to see that toyota let loose" and mostly mustang guys just called me a ricer. I guess the moral of my story is all about attitude and maturity. I dont mean to point fingers at the mustang. I dont hate the car just maybe the drivers at times. I undsertand that there are drivers that hate in every camp. Its just through my observation ive had more pats on the back and hand shakes from chevy owners than ford ones.
