Staying competitive isn't the right mindset... they need to be better than the new GT.

They should opt for some hardcore package with suspension/gear/weight?/tire upgrades and not price it as if it came from Shelby

Being competitive in my mind is actually beating them. BTW, they COULD do something similar to the Evo IX RS(The one which hit a 12.8) and make it a stripper version with performance options like a factory offered track pack. The track pack should include better gears, upgraded suspension, probably smaller wheels with slightly bigger tires, etc.
