Sorry...living where I do...I like hearing people reference the car when talking about winter.
I've come to firmly believe that that it comes down to the driver, and then the tires.
Then I'll be the first one to admit I'm a slight above average driver, and I wouldn't do good with a FWD vehicle and probably end up in a situation similar to one that my friend was in a week ago lol.

So, the 07 new body style Silverado was sold. That thing was perfect too. :( looks like imma have to start looking again... Sucks that 99% of the vehicles I've found are 2WD.

Eh?

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

Little far from TN, but it's through Carmax so they can just ship it.

How much do you think it would cost them to ship? But still, that's a little more than I want to spend.

Enough to get a 4WD. We get a few snows in the winter.

Not just believe... it is fact and truth.
It's funny how many 4wd, and awd vehicles you see in the ditch around here. Everybody thinks "oh i have 4wd/awd, i am invincible in inclement weather!" And then crashes.

The only thing 4wd/awd does for you, IS GET YOU STUCK FASTER!

4WD/AWD will help you in snow, but if you flat-out don't know how to drive in snow, you could have 6WD and you'd still crash.

I see it all the time...people who think their AWD systems will save them fly down the highway at normal speeds with 2 feet of snow on the ground and then wonder why they just crashed.

Question, would it be that much of a difference to buy a truck with the V6 instead of the V8? I've seen a couple trucks that I want but they all have one downfall, the V6. I think on the Silverado it would be underpowered. Plus it's just that fact of it being a V6 lol. And oddly, I found a Silverado that comes with a free Wii if you buy it lmao.

However as a last resort, since I like how these cars look, I found a Kia Forte Koup LOADED for $16,000. Also anyone know any good sites besides AutoTrader and Ebay Motors?
