How Cats and Dogs view us

When you own a dog we feed them, provide them with shelter, provide for their health needs, play with them and offer them our love and affection. The dog views it as;
"This being feeds me, heals me, houses me and loves me. This being MUST BE A GOD!"

When you own a cat we feed them, provide them with shelter, provide for their health needs, play with them and offer them our love and affection. The cat views it as;
"This being feeds me, heals me, houses me and loves me. I MUST BE A GOD!"

Meh, I still like cats because I don't have to train them very much. They just run around and do their own thing, which is often times humorous to observe. Course, I also live in town and don't have a large yard, so I feel like keeping a dog there would be crappy for the dog. A dog needs land to roam around and explore (in my opinion), and till I have that I won't get one. Just my 2 cents

i dunno, ill-behaved cats can get pretty nasty too... they can claw the crap out of furniture, and if they pee on the carpet - that is a difficult smell to remove

It's easy to prevent, though. Cats hate citrus. Squirt a little lemon juice somewhere and they will never go back.

Yeah I do remember hearing that. Haven't had any issues with mine (knock on wood).

Dogs

more is always better then 1

never had 2, got 2 now, wish I did it sooner.
like to get a pack going, its less work with 2.
the pack system rules easier, as they can learn off each other and want to be better.

I'm sure they keep each other entertained (and hopefully out of trouble for the most part) too.

Even though I'm a dog person, you're right 100%

We have 4 dogs and they pretty much keep each other entertained.

Yep, Snoopy and Simon (our two doggies) are always running around, looking for someone to show them love!
