The Z is faster, handles better, has higher higher handling limits, cool synchro rev match manual, and feels sportier... Its like the poor man's 911.

The Z will be in bold.

1/4 mile? (13.3 vs. 13.8)

Lateral G.? (.99 vs. .99)

Curb Weight? (3355lbs vs. 3585lbs)

Braking From 60? (106 vs. 111ft)

What other 30k-39k performance cars would you like to add to the discussion ... ?

I just put a top 3. It's subjective which is the BEST out of the top 3, but if there is another car that you'd like to add to lengthen the list, feel free.

bang for the buck is the best comparison.

Depends on your perspective

or if you were comparing similiar 2 door, 2+2 coupes.

if we are comparing 2 seaters, we can throw all logic out of the conversation and bring in a corvette and a sky to compare...

Not really. The Sky can't run with a Z, and the Corvette is priced out of comparison.

Like I said before, this is the performance car in the 30k-39k price bracket.... I didn't say anything about 2 doors or 4 doors.

It prevents comparison between the Corvette and GT500

The only criteria for this comparison is it has to be in the 30-39k price bracket.

I'm aware of that ... and the fact that neither car I mentioned is in that price bracket. I was just suggesting why Garage would bring that up.

You would be wrong. I was just suggesting that, although the 370Z, the Camaro and the Mustang are all in the same general price bracket, one of them is not like the other. That's all.

on topic

im happy about the pricing, ill be going gt premium, 3.73s, and MAYBE the electonics package.

yes both the camaro and mustang are getting out of average joes range. i believe thats a good thing though. i dont need every douchebag that can scrounge up 25k (or finance it for the rest of his life) to be driving around a 400hp+ car

LOL the mustang fans sure are beating their chest. Good job Ford. The next few years are going to be real exciting. I assume GM will respond for the 2012 Model year, Then back and forth they go..lol
