Looks like an Avalon. Nice though. Guessing this would replace the DTS? If so it's an improvement.

Replaces both the STS/DTS.

Avalon? Only thing it shares is the same body size relations...

But you can see the XTS does appear to be much bigger!

Hey Capt... i think he was trying to be witty... U kno.. a Smart Ass.

One quick look at the car.. and especially the video that Fenwick put up.. one coould easily see that this car should be touted by Cadillac as its 7series killer. Give it the proper engine like an LS3.. and let the magnificent XWD, coupled with the MRC (Magnetic Ride Control), do the rest

Odds are that if the Gen V is ready to go it will have a DOUBLE debut.. both in this.. and the C7

I do think GM should call them something catchy tho... Good marketing in a way that Chrysler... as shitty as most of their cars have been... still built equity in the Hemi name.

LSx seems to carry a great weight in the engine-world, and Joe. Public seems to recognize the "Chevy V8" or "Chevy Small Block"...but maybe I'm not exposed enough to really know...

I can agree, you mention an LS series engine number to anyone who has any interest in vehicles and they have a good idea of what you are talking about... horsepower and great mileage!
