There's the embarrassing thought of not being the most liked person in school. It never seems to cross anyone's mind that there are thousands of students each attending one of millions of schools. What happens in your school is just like any other.

exactly although i think with good parenting, kids can start to ease into dating at around 16. i mean, its my parents rule that no girlfriend over when they arent home, no going into bedrooms at anytime, no laying down on the couch... things like that which seem harsh but have really payed dividends for me
