Yeah, Meyer said he was stepping down for health reasons, but you know, if your heart/brain cyst/[name your chronic condition here] isn't up to coaching now, a leave of absence isn't gonna make it better. You're either too sick to coach or you aren't, there's not really an in between.

And yeah, Jones tosses a lot of money around, he's also notoriously hard to work with. Him and Jimmy Johnson were friends and Jones ran him off after winning back to back Superbowls. Compare that to the AL admin and the Tide faithful who will all but worship him as long as he keeps throwing up wins...
