Amen to that. Except for when the Vettes got a little dicey in the 80's, I'd take any model year over either of those. Hell, you could probably find a ZR1 in a year or two thats around the price of a Countach. You could get one now for cheaper than a well kept Diablo.

I have driven and worked on both. The Lambo is cool but its a lil too kit car like and it doesnt drive as good as you may think. Id take the TR hands down. Especially a TR with open exhaust.

I know, and I meant in their prime. I just think the Ferrari is going to be more civil in a daily driving situation based on what I've read about those cars in the past.

To be quite honest, I've never really liked either car. The gills on the Ferrari are ugly, and the Lambo was always overrrated in my opinion. I would take a ZR1 from the same era, or if one could buy the Sledgehammer, over either car.
