Congrats on the Win Yeah you're Right Gilbert did not have much playing expierence at all this season. When he did come in it was to maybe to kneel the ball down or maybe take 2 to 4 passes in a game. Losing Colt was HUGE to this Team as it took the rest of the first half to realize we came this far we needed to wake up and be who we are No we didnt have our genreal and our Fire but we were not going to lay down without a fight. 2nd half props to Gilbert he showed why he was a 5star recruit and that he was young with Rust. I would give anything to go back and be able to redo this............. only for the sake of letting a Qb get his dream....not so much to win but to lead his team through the game... Sad when someone comes into college and gets ever dream he works very hard for but comes short at the final dream. No he didnt run the last td for a win in the NC however he is imo our best QB in history or if not the best he shares that Role. The kid had heart. Defense im proud to say after looking at Stats you did your job we gave the ball up in some area's of the field where it was to easy for Bama to score they did and they Won. Congrats Thanks to all of you Bama Fans with Class. The loss hurt here but losing a Qb like MCCOY when we did hurts more. I know this is just a game and we live on with our lives however I have to say with what we went through this season fighting to get here "THAT HIT" put a sick feeling in my gut and still sits there. I wish we could have lost with him in the game rather than on the sideline now all we TEXAS Fans will ever have at the of Colt MCCOY is .............. it wasnt meant to be. Thanks for the fun season talking up football to each of you. It was fun while it lasted but Sad after the End shortly started Congrats Bama |

![]() Can't argue the logic. Big 12 will be wide open. Of course OU and UT will be the favorites but if Nebraska can get some offense going, they could be tough, but ya, I don't see them going undefeated. |

Oh and PQ PLEASE dont ever pull for us again lol
You pulled for us to win and you gave us props for a month however we lose our QB on the first drive and we SMELL like $hit and SUCK from your point of view before the half was over. If you respect us from the begining why not stand behind us unitl the end and represent the Big12.I think Texas showed People unlike OU and past teams We dont just Lay down even if we were out matched. Atleast Texas can say one thing We came back 18points down and fought a SEC Team with a True freshman Backup QB and our Defense did What we expected if it wasnt for 5 Big running plays get the Best of us and push a Well deserved Rushing attacked offense forward. Plus our Fans Never Left the Stands unlike your last 2 NC's or was it 3 ? lol We came early Stayed to the end and stood proud wearing our orange Good year man sorry for the early loss of your QB I feel your pain x50 Now we are left ![]() oh brother no again ! |

I'm not a Father but reading what Brad Mccoy ( Colts Dad ) says here puts a lump in my throat. Sad how the good people get the shaft in life and many losers and bad people like we see daily keep having good things happen good for them.
Makes me wonder what you as a parent or I when I am a parent would/will say in this type of moment………what could you say knowing what a Great person you have Raised here. Heros are not football players its the people who put kids like these in the world. Wow.....maybe the hardest job in the world is parenting and explaining Life when you cant explain it yourself Brad McCoy said father and son shared some tough moments Thursday night. “We’re close, and he just looked at me with tears in his eyes and said, ‘I had ‘em. They were doing exactly what I was prepared for them to do. I knew what they were going to do, and I had ‘em. “Why does this have to happen? I felt like I was going to complete every pass I threw.’ That’s the competitor in him coming out because he could sense he wasn’t going to get to play in the game again. “It was one of those deals that was really hard. I was proud of him to get back out there on the sideline, trying to coach Garrett in the second half. I think that helped Garrett settle down because Colt was out there trying to help him with the things he needed to do. I was proud of him for that because he continued to be a leader, even though he couldn’t do the physical part of it. “He didn’t enter the draft last year. It was for this reason. It wasn’t to win awards. It wasn’t to win the Heisman. It was to get his team to the national championship and win it. And that’s the tough part because he did everything he needed to do to get here, and then just didn’t get to play in the ballgame. “I just hurt for him because his mom and I are in that relationship every day and have seen what he’s sacrificed. He has a huge faith. He’s going to figure out why this happened. God has a reason for everything in his life. And we will see Colt McCoy doing great, great things at another level, I have no doubt in that.” |

Take a look at that extremely talented prospect... he's like Adrian Peterson... but harder to bring down. |

Yea.... See that's not really an opinion. He's on the short list for the Job along with Cowher and Gruden.... seeing as hes the worst coach on that list he probably won't get the job either way, but he is on the list with confirmed interest.

Saban may well interview if that job becomes open and he is offered an interview. He has no loyalty, and he is a liar.

He may be interested, but remember, your man Meyer was interested in quitting. We saw how long that lasted.

And yea he makes good money for a college coach... but Jerry Jones wipes his ass with the salaries of College Coaches... if Jerry wants him, the Salary isn't going to hold Saban back. And HOT DAMN Carrol is apparently one good pen away from coaching the SeaHawks. Saban to USC? lmao |
