Regarding my post in your thread:
My dad has a congenital heart defect and he goes into atrial fibrillation on a whim. He also had a stroke last year--hey, he's getting old. Point is that I've been to the ER probably 10 times in the last few years and I've seen a lot of doctors. When I meet an ER doc that can "tell what's wrong by looking at him", that come across as jaded, rushed, and apathetic.

I understand completely - note that I'm not looking at buying a cheap POS one, even though the chances of it getting stolen are rather high. I'm looking into the master classic II because I've read tons of good things about it. I may pick up a second stethoscope later to keep in my bag (as opposed to around my neck) for pediatrics. I can get the master classic for 91 dollars, or 101 and have my name printed on the rubber neck. And my dad is going to engrave my name on the bell of whatever one I end up getting - he makes knives for a living (http://www.sticecraft.com). So... hopefully that'll prevent it from walking away.

Even if he did somehow get a V10 to drop in it, there's no way it would fit in the engine bay. He'd have to lengthen the entire front end, get a custom subframe/driveshaft, custom body work, etc. Plus, a twin-supercharger, turbo charged V10? WTF?
