well, I rarely stop to help people on the side of the road down here. too many people that have faked their car being busted down and they mug/carjack the person that pulls over to help. but depending on the weather and situation (if I've got the Jericho in the truck), I'll stop and help, but usually only in well lit/trafficked areas.

Understandable. I'll admit that I don't pull over to help very often, but then again I drive a little two door and I'm not a mechanic. Most problems would be beyond my ability to diagnose/repair on the side of the road, and I can't pull somebody out of a ditch.

you can pull someone out of a ditch.... if you do it right (depending on the size of the vehicle, traction, and other factors).

thats one reason I'm looking at doing a diesel swap in my truck. (or selling it and buying a diesel out right)

my eventual plan includes a 12 or 24 valve cummins (cus no offense to GM, but cummins rules the diesel house), transplanted into a 2500HD truck.

and ive grown fond of Adrienne (my F150) and I've been debating over finding a frame from a 2500HD, a Cummins from a Ram and taking the cab from my truck and a bed from a 2500/3500HD and making a "Big 3 Abomination"




the main 2 reasons I dont want to use my existing chassis/frame for the swap is due to the torsion bar suspension style and it not having a solid axle up front

Lmao - my car weighs 2200 pounds, has maybe 115 chp, and has nowhere to attach a rope/chain.

I don't think I'd be able to pull anybody out of a ditch.
