God, I hate to hear stories like this. Our animals are family and it is brutally painful to lose one of them. Sorry for your loss, god bless and hopefully the rest of the year is better for you and your family.

sorry man, beautiful horse. What kind of horse is that? It is hard to tell from the pic. Thats your wife right? From other pics I know shes short but is she that short or is that some sort of draught horse?

We had to put down Cookie in the spring. She was a quarter horse in her mid 20s. My wife grew up with her. It was a very hard time for her. She ended up colicing, rolling and twisting her bowel.

My wife still misses her dearly. Funny, I see all your posts and never would have taken you guys for riders! I guess ya never know.

The wife is more of the rider. I am more of a car person.

The horse is a Percheron Draft and he was 19.1H

He was tied for a long time with the tallest living horse. 19.1H is very tall. He was 6'4" to his shoulder.
