I have been on the phone a total of 4 hours with them today and still nothing :( I keep telling them to send my laptop back and they wont do it. What do I do :(

I have had multiple issues with this toshiba. But the worst thing about it is the customer service.

I hope you did a backup of your harddrive before you sent it off, you may never get it back. keep hounding customer service, E-mail the company every day with your service number they should have given you telling them to fix it and end it back.
Is it still under warrenty?

It is under warranty until February. I had a back up. Sad that I may not get my lap top back though. I will NEVER EVER buy another Toshiba anything again

i bought 2 toshiba laptops in the past, both gave annoying Power supply, AC adapter issues.

I know it sounds fairly simple, but after going thru a motherboard and power supply on the first one, and 5 adapters and a screen on the second one, I will not own another one ever again.

I replaced it with a Mac Book-- It is like replacing your Civic with a Camaro!

Most likely because mostly rich people buy them and apple will be happy to replace a hardrive for $1000 and they think thats not too bad.

Read about AppleCare. It's pretty much the best warranty ever created. It covers just about anything for as long as 3 years, and you don't have to purchase it at the time you buy your Apple computer, iPod, iPhone, or whatever else you get from Apple.
