I'm just thinking about all the poor bastards that bought a 2010 Mustang and now the 2011 is going to be MUCH better and probably not that much more money!

It would feel to me like Ford Screwed the 2010 buyers. What do you guys think?

Also I see a lot of people hoping Chevy ups the Camaro for 2011 for bragging rights but that would make the 2010 less valuable, I hope they keep it the same.

Did GM screw over GTO owners when it went from LS1 to LS2? Or from LS2 to LS3 in the C6?

It's just a natural progression of things.

That's just what happens. We have an '07 Malibu when the much better '08 Malibu came out a year later, but we needed a car. Nothing I can do about that.

Stuff like this, cars, computers, whatever, will always end up with someone getting screwed over. The key is to make good enough improvements over the previous generation to make the current owner want to buy the new product, which I think Ford's done with the 2011 Mustang.

Because I know others post things that have nothing to do with the "whatever" all in the wrong areas of the forum but never stop to think where they are posting. Hence the "not camaro related" part

Did you post this in another topic and it got moved here, or are you that annoyed at these threads???

This is the correct place to discuss the 2011 Mustang on this forum, and how it compares to the 2010 Camaro and 2011 Camaro, right?

I saw something in the Ford PRess Release I wanted to mention and get feedback on but now I'm afraid to say anything!
Regardless of any intention or purpose of a forum- I don't think the problem is that the Mustang information is here- it is how it is being presented and the tone in which some of the people are voicing their opinion- for what it is worth- I do intend to get a Mustang in the future, but when you're constantly dropping line after line about how f'ed up GM is or how much you dislike the Camaro, you are moving to a point where it gets annoying. LOVE your car, but holy shit let's not get smug about it. Just to make sure I get this across- It isn't not about the information, it is about the attitude...

Lol, Ford did not screw any of the 10' mustang owners. It has been stated for a while now that the 5.0 would be used in the 11' and would be near 400hp.

Agreed. 2010 Buyers made an informed decision, and got good deals on what is still a very good car.

2011 is THE year for the Ford Mustang. I can't wait to drive one and compare it to our SS...if I like it, it will be mine.

That's the part people tend to forget. One of the forum members got a loaded 2010 for his wife for about $28k that had a sticker price of $39k.
