"2006-2007 CORVETTE Z06 EQUIPPED WITH A REMOVABLE ROOF"

All zero of them? and this is old news.

I had a 07 C6 but it was outside the VIN range. I remember hearing about this a long time ago. I was hoping I was within the VIN range b/c I was going to try to get a transparent top out of GM instead of replacing/repairing the solid roof... No such luck!

Unless your roof peels off at highway speed and flies into a car behind you.

(That happened to a buddy of mine with a 89 T/A with T tops. One of the locking pins broke and smashed into a guy behind us, thank god it only hit his grille. If it woulda came through the windsheild, the guy would have been dead)

Not exactly true. If it totally separates and flies off, it could be for the bus load of nuns behind you!

Not sure if any actually flew off but it could be a safety issue.

EDIT... beat to the punch!

I think the only time my brother-in-laws roof saw the sunshine was when he washed it or on the drive home from the dealer. His Corvette only comes out in the sunshine.
