If they really did add body stiffening upgrades, suspension and braking tweaks, it is plausible that it put on a few lbs. I'll agree that it seems unlikely that it gained 300lbs, but again, why is Ford estimating such a high weight for the GT?
Look at the quote for the V6, hes showing that ford's numbers on the spec sheet were high estimates. the spec sheet said something like 3700 pounds while ford officially announced that the car should be under 3500 pounds.

Did some of you guys fail to notice the "EST" after the weight. That means ESTIMATE not actual weight. Ford listed estimated the weight for the 2005 at 3900 lbs and it came in well under that. So hold out for actual weight numbers. A guestimate is a guestimate even if it comes right from Ford.

no, im sure it will be priced around what it is now
From what i have seen, the 3.6 DI is pushing 325, saw it somehwere a while back when it was reported to be used in a upcomming vehicle so the v6 Camaro will probably get that jump
And we all know the LS3 can be bumped easily.

Yes, I fully understand EST is estimate. Its why I clearly asked why Ford's EST was so high? Even I admit there is no way its gonna gain 300lbs with the current known changes for 2011.

That's sexy... I'm gonna wait and see what the 2011 model has to offer before I place my order I think.

so they're adding 100HP and not losing fuel economy, or actually gaining 1 mile on the highway.
