Why is it that there is ALWAYS!!!

Why is it that there is ALWAYS, One out of two running lights burned out on the chevrolet silverado, I cannot stand this. It's been happening for ten freaking years, I'm tired of seeing it! And yes, I know light bulbs burn out, but these are burning out more that normal, and consistently on the silverado.

I love chevy, but this is a stupid freaking problem to have. Is it because they are on all the freakin time, or is this some other problem that i don't know about?

That is why GM stopped using the running lights (which were basically the bright element of a turn signal lamp)and switched to a lower voltage on the headlights. they last much longer. I have never had one of my DRL's burn out.
And you can turn them off if you want, I did this on my HHR yesterday. only thing is you have to do it every time you start the car because it resets when you shut off the power.

I have this, and other problems, with my Impreza, except my problem is that the fog light keeps burning out.

I hate my car. :(
