476 hp > 500 don't round up for one car then round down for another if you want to be taken seriously

There are no surprises to be had. I have plenty of friends with real cars that do real mods at real dyno shops. So I couldn't care less about whatever proof you want to post. I know plenty about what the 4.6 does and 95% of it is with forced induction.

Matter of fact a good friend of mine owns a Ford only shop, and I always bring my Camaro's over on his dyno days. The only Fords that put down good numbers have blowers strapped to them in some form.

Reading comprehension > you

Read posts so you don't look like an ass.

I said 50 RWHP for the Camaro. 50 RWHP is greater than 50 flywheel hp. Which is also why I said "pushing 500".

that is not a lot of hp from a 5.0

for the money maybe, but there are smaller n/a stock engines, making a lot more hp

We aren't talking about them, if they do exist.

Even though the 4.6L engine has less HP than a 6.2L V8 they both gain the same mod to mod. What I mean is you add typical bolt-ons to a 4.6L V8 and add the same bolt-ons to a 6.2L V8 and both will have the same percentage of gain. For example 25% RWHP will be made on both cars. So neither one is more effiicent, obvioulsy the 426hp car will gain more HP (426+25%=532HP vs. (350+25%=437HP). So don't expect the 5.0L V8 to all of the sudden respond poorly to mods because it its bigger and better.

On top of the new engine the Mustang is lighter and I don't see the weight changing too much, they just refreshed the car this year. Look, I don't like the looks of the new Mustang at all and they have always been a joke without seriuos mods or FI, but this 2011 Mustang is the real deal.

What does this have to do with Ford's 5.0 again? See how off the charts you have to go to find a comparable engine? Its direct injected and costs a fortune. BTW that is alot of HP for a 4.5 liter, I forget are you proving my point or arguing it? 412 for a non-DI N/A motor is alot of factory power from 5.0l.

you said 412hp is a lot from a 5.0, not from FORDS 5.0.

and yes thats a lot of hp, and 412, is not. its a good amount, but not a lot.

Well I always forget about people that want to take things off topic. I figured since I was posting in a thread about the Mustang and the 5.0's return specifically, that it would all be understood. It must be my mistake.
