It's a conspiracy, just like how the Government is using my credit card purchases to track what I buy. AHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly. I never keep my registration (or insurance card) in any of my cars. They are n my wallet. If they take that, well I'm screwed, but they can't out run a phone call home.

Also, never put your home address in your GPS for the same reason ( use your neighbors or down the street)

I guess it is slightly different living in Idaho. You have to be cautious, but last summer I left my garage door open for four days when I went on a trip and my ballistic vest, most of my military field gear and kevlar were sitting in the middle of the floor. When I got back my jaw dropped because of my stupidity but also that it was all still there untouched.

Where I live, people are too busy making meth than worrying about stealing or stalking.

I am sure they are not just driving through malls looking for expired plates.. couldn't they be looking for other things, like Stolen Vehicles? Making sure women are not getting mugged on the way to their cars.. Looking for Drug deals going on??? geesh some people think all cops are out ther for is to hassel people .. By the way expired plates ARE ILLEGAL and if you get cited for them you deserve it...
Cops risk their lives every day to protect you... what do you do for a living?

I have a few shotguns in the house and glocks in good locations ready to get at in case of house intrusion from a wacko. If it is two or more of them, one shot of the shotgun should get them all if they are dumb enough to be standing close together.

You dont know schaumburg obviously.

Oh I was stationed outside of my home of record and stopped at the mall to pick my brother up a present. Its not the easiest thing to register a car from 12 hours away. Especially when your going to be there a few days after it expires. But your a smart guy, you know everything is black and white.

There are way too many wacko's out there and who knows if they troll this site. With ur plate information and the services available on the internet..BAM..the wacko has ur registered address and can visit when u least expect it.

IMHO.

Well if they get pass the dogs and then my wife there allways the guns I welcome the wackos......let them just try cuz I will have fun fighting them off.Maybe In should post pics of the dogs and the guns in the house they might think twice...

What state is your "Home of record"?

Surely they have an Online or by mail renewal system where they will mail your tag/sticker to you if you are stationed out of state. besides you have at least an entire month to renew your tags, unless you are out of the country you should be able to do it in time. My son is in the Airforce stationed in another state and he has no problem getting his tags renewed...

lets see black and white, not everything is black and white, some things are up to judgement, but in this case is there not a definate date when the tags are no longer legal? seems pretty black and white to me...But even if it was up to judgement maybe in the officer's opinion you had plenty of time to get them renewed...

Yes I am A Smart Guy you must be one too and can understand when something like a Registration or driver's license expires you are subject to being fined and if you choose to wait then you need to accept you are the one that took the risk..You made a choice... Don't blame the officers for doing their job...
