I think the closest I can get you is a contract for 40,000 lbs of lean hogs or 40,000 lbs of live cattle. That's 1 contract each. You can check current futures prices at the links provided.

The margin on contracts is less than 5% of the value of the contract most of the time. Basically, if you buy 1 contract for a certain amount and you intend to take delivery of the product, you should have 100 times the value that you paid available. It's called leverage because the small margin that you put down controls a much larger investment.

Does that work the same way for stock in a company?? Or does somebody else control that?
