2010 Equinox named Urban Truck of Year

According to gminsidenews.com today, the Chevy 2010 Equinox has won an award for "Urban Truck of the Year".

Never liked the Equinox. Always thought it was ugly. I would rather have the GMC Acadia.

To each their own. My wife and I personally like the GMC version (Terrain) better but apparently, many others DO like the Equinox...so much so that GM has added a third shift to the plant that makes the 2010 'Nox due to the huge demand for the vehicle.

What the hell is "Urban Truck of the Year?"

It's like some kind of consolation prize.. Damnit now the "Everybody gets a trophy" syndrome has moved from kids to cars.

Couldn't agree more! I used to have an 05 'Nox and recently test drove a new one and it was amazing inside and out and drove very nicely.

Given the choice I would choose the Terrain over the 'Nox however everyone else I know like the 'Nox better.

They've done amazing work to these and people must agree as sales have risen about 236%.
