I like SoCal, but I'd never want to spend long periods of time there. Just gets boring.

I mean, its boring here in Oklahoma too. But I'd like to move to the portland/vancouver area some day. Lots of rain, but very little snow or ice. Which would work great for me.

My lifestyle is alot more laid back and so are my days...i do not mind slow and boring, as long as a race track is near and some intramural sports..i can get all of the excitement I need

Heh - works for me. I've been trying to move towards a bit more laid back attitude lately. I'm getting tired of worrying about where my life will be in 5 years and stuff like that.

Seriously, I may not end up getting a camaro. I'm really looking into getting a low low mileage used Sky and just using it to cruise. I know if I get a camaro I'm just going to end up making it faster and faster and I'll probably want to race it and blah blah blah... Which is cool, just not where I want to go at the moment.

Plus, I'll have the Maxim when I want to go fast. 12s through the 1/4 is fast enough for me (not to mention that in my experience, a car and motorcycle of the same speed you'll feel like you're going faster on the bike. Just more exposed to things like the air moving past you and whatnot.)

In a few years I see me getting out of racing all together. I have been at it in various forms for over 21 years. Motorcycles in WERA and SEMDRA(even racing motoX), cars locally,street racing and NHRA. I see myself with just one sports car(C7) a luxury sedan and a SUV...for fun atv/dirtbikes and a boat for the family. My focus is on family and all things fun that I can include my family in on....just my mindset and my goals...I have lived a very exciting life and have done everything I have ever desired..now it's time for me to just be the family man and drown myself in the joys of it in our own little world

C7 Z06 and a S550....I like my luxury german....love the comfort and power of german engineering....

Heh, I'm german and I was an engineering student (until I changed majors) - does that count?

Though honestly, I prefer electrical engineering. I can design and build circuits and relays all day long. I built a tesla coil senior year of high school as a project for my physics class...

Seriously though, I'd love something like a saturn sky with a rock solid american V8 in it. Thats why I'm looking at the LSX376. Seriously, I doubt I'd ever bust that thing in stock configuration. And with no oklahoma emissions testing/inspections... Should be fine as far as the swap goes.

German engineering failed us epically.

We had a 1980s-era Mercedes SE...drove me home from the hospital when I was born.

Sunroof leaked, body panels rusted, cost of maintenance was outrageous...

My dad traded it in on the Saturn.
