LMAO. True, true.

Fortunately the maxim is keeping me distracted. Plus, it'll be able to blow past just about everything on the street anyway. Mid-12s ftw yes yes?

I'm happy that after Friday my wife will be unemployed! Well really I'm happy that its her last day at her current company(whooohooo) and she doesn't start her new job until January. She will actually be around and not stressing about work during this holiday!

That sounds great! Couldn't we all use two weeks off before the end of the year? That's wonderful!

So far, 2009 is ending in a positive way. Unfortunately, next Monday that kinda takes a hit. I think the best news I have received over the last few weeks, is that my father is on his way to management were he works. He has worked really hard to get where he is, and deserves it. Means he will be making pretty good money, getting bonuses every quarter, and every 5 years he get's close to $8,000 in stock. Lucky him, he's been there almost 5 years.

Once he's in the management level, he has to wait like 6 months before he can apply for higher management, but once he does that, and if he get's it, he get's like a 15k a year raise, and then after that, it goes to another 15k raise, and then after that, he will be in the 100k a year range, and after bonuses, the 150k range. So that's my good news.

I am happy and proud of him. He deserves it. Means he can pay off his suv, get a bigger diesel truck that he want's, and a harley davidson.

oh well, i write my last exam on saturday morning, then home for christmas!
Accounting/finance/stats exams can really put a dampener on the christmas spirit

Finance is my major...I love this stuff. You wanna hear something crazy? My econ teacher taught us how to calculate an equation, and then put it on the exam as a completely different method. I also know what ya mean by curveball...my econ teacher was the same way...that and she didn't know the meaning of pop quiz. Every class we had a pop quiz on stuff taught that class.

That's great news Adam. It sounds like you have a lot to be proud of with your father. It's great to see young men looking up to their fathers like you do!

I remember exam week......I feel for you. Hopefully you'll get through it soon, and not be terribly stressed and exhausted. All the hard work pays off though so hang in there and give it your best!

That's great Zebra, here's to hoping work stays just as busy for you into the next year!

....and thanks for being a fan, there's lots of naysayers around, so I appreciate the encouraging people a lot!

Thanks a lot everyone, I appreciate hearing all the positive things you have shared. I am usually surrounded by people who are in dire situations and that have been beaten down so long; their negativity sometimes gets to be too much to take! Thanks!
