Rant over.
I'm a fellow Oklahomie, born and raised near Lawton. The company I drive for is the core carrier for a large retailer in Ochelata, Ok. Before this thread, if I was to see a Camaro smoldering on the shoulder in your area I would have stopped.
... After reading your post, I would still stop, especially if you have a rag hanging from your open hood. Why? Not because I'm an old school trucker. Because I was raised that way.

Why don't truckers stop anymore? If you were perceived as a low life scum by the majority of the population, would you stop?

Signed: Your local low life toilet paper terrorist trucker

It's not a particular group that makes bad drivers, it's a particular attitude. The worst of the bunch is the "ME!" attitude. The OP and both truckers he commented on were all guilty of it.

If he would have been truthful with his 'story', his 25 minute rolling roadblock was probably closer to 4 minutes.

I dare each of you reading this to go just one day with the attitude that everyone you come in contact with is more important than you.

But that would mean....that I'm not the most important thing in the world even though my actions and feelings are inconsequential compared to the other 5 billion people on the planet and I just make myself believe I'm important because it makes me feel better.

...uhh....I can't do that....too scared.

Well not that I'm trying to bring up politics directly, but maybe their rolling roadblock was them petitioning the carbon tax where they were trying to tax people for milage? I haven't heard about it for months but I figured if it were still a threat then trucker companies would be pissed.
