Nice, I've wondered how much power is "enough" power for use with street tires. My gut was about 500RWHP.

That's my goal for the Challenger.

Very very nice Garage. There is a guy down here in S. Fla that is about to do that setup. He has a white and blue 10 GT500. Not sure who will do the work though...He was talking about it at our local tower's meets.

(Towers=Car meet of all brands and years, every Friday at Towers shopping plaza)

Hey Speedy, it was great putting a face with the name today. I really like the tasteful mods you've made to the Challenger and enjoyed talking car stuff with you.

Same here....VERY nice ride you got there. We need to get together again after Christmas to talk shop some more.

I also want another ride in that beast of a car!

Wow, I can't believe I missed this thread until now.

Nice car, I am in total awe.

Since your car has a manual transmission, and since you will be driving it on the track a lot, does that mean you will have to replace the clutch a few time? Because it looks like to me that you can't really drop the transmission without taking off the turbos first.

I think that can be arranged. Maybe by then Santa will have brought me some stickier tires to put under the car by then.

It won't see lot of track time, maybe 2-3 days during the year, so I'm not too worried about the clutch in the short term. The stock clutch on my 2007 lasted 30K miles at 650+rwhp, 4-5 trips to the drag strip and daily driving it in stop-and-go traffic.

But you are correct, a lot of the hardware would have to come off in order to drop the transmission, so I'm not looking forward to the job at all.:(

HEY GARAGE I just found out some interesting information that I'd thought you'd like to know.I recently read the latest issue of 5.0 Mustang and they tested a BRAND NEW 3.8L Kenne bell twin screw supercharger and on the engine dyno it's putting over 1000hp,Supercharger only,no compound boost.the new kit is $6,800 or so and here is the best news they're comming out with a 4.2L version with 8 rib and 10 rib capablities. The 3.8 boost was around 16-20lbs.The Kit is currently available for 03-04 Cobras and GT500 5.4L(any year).
This is even more incentive to buy a Cobra or GT500 for me.Chevy and dodge boys don't start hating now cuz Kenne Bell will offer the same blower to you guys in the very near Future.but the Stangbangers get it first.BTW the 4.2L is kinda pricey at $7,100 but it's by far the biggest twin screw out there

This would be my dream combo
GT500 or Cobra Kenne Bell 4.2L with Hellion Hellraiser Kit,Fully built stroker and trans with a 9 inch and 4.10's

Power......There is simply nothing else like it

Congrats on a successful and impressive install on your snake.I hope to be joining you guys with a performance car of my own whatever the brand:popcor n:

I wonder why that is?
