I've spent more than 3 months salary...

maybe thats why people are getting married while they are young.... cus they are making less and dont want to spend much on the ring... lmao

Haha, I'm the same way, but don't let sleazy marketing ruin your opinion of marriage in general.

I'm getting off easy, my girl is pretty active and she doesn't want a giant rock that would stick up and get snagged on things. Cool with me, it leaves more money in th budget to find a flawless one in a cool setting. I'm looking at semi-bezel asscher cuts. Thought I found the perfect one, but it's 10k at Tiffany.

thats what I did. I seriously went thru over 60 stones till I found the right one. too many of them had little inclusions in the wrong areas. I'd go in and I could see them with my naked eye. the sales lady would say "oh, thats just a little dirt/dust" I'd just smile and let her go clean it. she'd come back and it would still be there. she couldnt see it... till she put it under the microscope.

Omg that is gorgeous! Haha my bf was only working two days a week a couple of months ago and now he is working 6 days a week he joked with me saying he should have bought it then
