My old roommate had to testify in court against a guy who was convicted of vehicular manslaughter after he lost control of his SUV, hit a concrete wall and it flipped over and crushed a porche convertible sitting at a light, killed the 2 occupants instantly. Guy was drunk and got 10 years in jail for it. Still amazes me how people can be so f-ing stupid behind the wheel.

I hit a girl once. I was driving within all traffic rules. She just ran across a busy 6 lane road. I almost got stopped. Still hit her hard enough to watch her fly over my car. She turned out to be ok with just a few minor cuts. It was absolutely the worst thing I've ever felt in my life. Even after I knew she was OK it took me hours to calm down.

I only needed to see the first 30 seconds.

You are operating a machine, a tool, an unthinking object. You are traveling at unnatural speeds; speeds nature did not intend us to travel at and so we are not equipped to survive impacts. In the right circumstance, your vehicle is a weapon. And as with all weapons, you must PAY ATTENTION TO WHERE YOU'RE AIMING IT.

Street racing is not illegal because the man wants to get you down, its illegal so somebody has a right to sue your dumb ass for being an irresponsible fool. It is not allright to go 120 in a 55 because you're a good driver and paying attention. The risks do not go away just because you think you're a "good driver". And you cannot pay attention as well as you can at 55, because you are covering ground twice as fast, requiring twice the "attention", which we don't have.

You are piloting a 4000 lb missile, capable of very real damage to you and other people.
And if you don't think that way, shame on you.

I wish the a$$ that hit and ran, leaving me for dead on the road, would have been paying attention.......and yes, it makes me think when I get in my car and start to drive.
Sorry for you, Nuke...:(

VERY POWERFUL!!!!!....

This video gave me chills, and extreme sadness watching it...thanks for sharing it and reminding us to be careful out there...

It only takes a second to change someone's life AND your own, for LIFE...there is no 'do-over'....death cannot be 'undone'....

There are no words.........................

Kinda silly. It had me at first, but lost me pretty quick.

Still, we should always be aware of our surroundings, and don't do anything stupid...

this is a downer, but it stuff like this should get more attention. there was a thread in the 4th gen section that a guy posted of a couple of kids recently died while driving an lt1. people tell me i drive safe when ever i have a passenger. good. no ones life will be lost while im driving. too many people i know has been killed in a car accident. it f*cking pisses me off to see some family members who also has people close to them lose their life that way, and still drive recklessly. i hope all of you guys drive safe with your new speed machines.
