Here you go. .50BMG handgun, just in case the bear is wearing 2" armor plate. 647gr of whoopass traveling at 3000+fps.

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...50-bmg-pistol/

And .50BMG as compared to .300winmag, .308win, 7.62X39, .223rem and .22LR

And before you chime in Icky, No. Throwing Knives aren't going to work.
when i went to anchorage... the guides up there all carried 870 pump shot guns with pistol grips and 8 round tube mags loaded with slug rounds... less money to buy and more power then a 44 mag. the few times that I saw a bear if you made a lot of noise they just went away.....

Zeus is right, more pictures required. I'm the big goofy looking one. This is from 2006. If you're wondering about the pants, I slipped when I waded out to get this guy from under a snag, so I had to change to grubbies and the socks are thermal.

It's a Triploid.

Triploid - Genetically altered fish capable of growing much larger due to the inability to reproduce. Because it doesn't waste a large % of its energy on reproducing, it uses all of it to grow.

I like how one comment says because it's a triploid, it didn't take any skill hooking and landing it. Apparently that moron never landed anything bigger than a dead goldfish.
