If it were me I would have done one of two different things #1 I would have snapped the ball kneeled it then called a Time out with 2 or 3 seconds left OR Just called Time out with 7 seconds to go and kicked the dam thing and squib kicked it.

Today in a press confrence Our Special Teams Coach said with the way this game was going and with 2 key players banged up he didnt want to chance a run back ( BS imo ) or giving them the ball with 1 or 2 seconds left on the 50 and the chance of a hailmary or the pass interference down on the goal line.
he said the whole thing that was said to MCcoy was dont force anything just roll out see if the quick 5/10 yard is 100% open or lob it out of bounce and leave no more than 2 seconds. ( I wouldnt have done this with a QB who was seeing Star's )

I would have still called a Time out and kicked the Ball.

I was just trying to tell 1bad65 lets just accept where we are and not talk $hit to anyone. I really dont like talking $hit I ate crow once 9 years ago and it sucked lol. Anything could happen in todays game.

I know we didnt look the best on offense... im not happy with the play calling we had on offense trying to get something going with the running game when there was clearly not going to be anything there.

Nebraska has a dam good line who gave OU fits as well it was said Yesterday that Bo asked Bob/venables ( since both teams run the same deffense ) on what worked with OU for Texas. This game was nothing but another OU type game !!!!! except when we did play OU we had NEW players like Goodwin at WR that OU had never seen and that was something Nebraska had time to get ready for.

They Matched us well.

Maybe Florida can get a true run game. They're definately gonna be good again, but as many question marks as UT and OU.

We are going to have all 3 of our current RB's, along with Mack Brown.... the #2 overall RB recruit coming out. He's a power/speed back.... think Ray Rice... I think that will give us another dimension.

I am telling you right now, Brantley is going to be real good. He doesn't have Tim Tebow's 'I will impose my will on you' way of leading a team, but he is a very gifted passer and he spreads the ball around more than any college QB I've ever seen. He grew up in a town with 1200 people, so as while the media may love to swarm all over Tim Tebow, Brantley cant do enough to stay out of the spotlight.

Seriously though, look at how humble this kid is. <--- this was following the FIU game when Brantley threw 3 TD's in 9 minutes after Tebow came out.

Ingram had a Great year but there were 3 games where he had shaky games but hey who is perfect right ? AWSOME GAME verses Florida however why give him all the credit what about the play of his QB ?

Gerheart Wow lol awsome running back who proved against teams especially USC why he is the work horse week in and week out for his Team.

Mccoy ( say it he sucked the other night ) And he did just what he has done every game when it came down to it.
1.5 minutes to go Give him the ball and he finds his target to get the job done. He does it week in and week out. he has done it 19 times since he has come here.
He leads his Team in Rushing , He has passed well over 3,000 yards his last 3 years , The last 2 years he has held a Completetion percentage of 71% and above and Now he is the All Time winningest QB ever in College Football.

Either way whoever gets it right now people are going to Argue who deserves it........ Me of course im taking my QB the kid is a machine however I also have to say dont leave out gerheart/ingram and Wow Tebow back AGAIN to Tebow

These voters are the funniest people in the world. In what I now consider to be the stupidest award in the world.

The year Peterson came in second was my final year to give a shit about it. He would have won the award but "He was a freshman" voter after voter kept saying that. LITERALLY. I got tired of hearing interviews with voters saying

"Adrian Peterson is the best college football player hands down, BUT, I just can't give my vote to a freshman".

FOOEY on this stupid award. I didn't give a damn when Bradford won it and won't ever care about it again.

NOW, on to McCoy. He deserves the award and since they gave one to Bradford and Tebow, they will right the ship so to speak. Ingram still has a chance next year. Gerhart won't win. Not with McCoy still waiting from last year.

Even though he was a Sooner I was right there with you on Adrian I wish that kid could have had 3 years of an
