God bless.Had two officers ambushed here in rochester on Monday night thank god there going to be all right. They caught the two punks that did it.

Pretty late but here it is. Basically remembering everybody who died in the line of duty....

Not only do I have a nephew and a good friend who serve and protect, my bro in law is a fireman. I also have a great appreciation for law enforcement and EMS...when my oldest daughter was 8 yrs old she had her first gran mal epileptic siezure. Long story short, woke up at 3 am to the sound of chocking/rustling went to my daughters room and she was in full siezure. Never before had we seen any signs or simptoms so I thought she was chocking. My wife called 911 while i frantically tried to stop her from choking. First officer responding came thru the door literally within 1:30 to 2 minutes from the time of the call. He didn't knock, he was thru the door asking where she was with calm and professionalism. When he got to her she was just starting to come out of it and he immediateky recognized what had happened and radioed dispatch to let ems and fire what was going on. Not more than 1-2 minutes later fire and ems were on site and tending to my daughter again with a calm professionalism that soothed our tattered nerves. They had her loaded in an ambulance and on the way to hospital in less than 5 minutes tops.

Cannot express my gratitude in words to those who serve!

Does anyone have a pic of the blue lion? I much prefer the new police insignia then the "blue line". I would just take a pic of my front tag and use it but I don't have a camera.

I think I like my avatar better. Not that I don't feel bad for a few badges that were sitting in a coffe shop working on their lap tops and some jackoff comes in and shoots them but, I like the Camaro better. Sorry. Well guy fights the ticket and the cop admits to not using radar and gave him the ticket for it based on... and I quote "thats how fast I thought he was going... 62" WOW, just wow.

Secondly, I don't know if I necessarily believe they deserve any special treatment that any "civilian" murder victim would recieve. What about the 9 year old girl whose neighbor killed her or the 10 year old boy whose brother killed him... "just to see what it felt like" My heart goes out to the parents of these kids WAY more then to the cops. They chose a dangerous career and get paid to do it. 9 and 10 year olds getting murdered... just sick.

I'm going to say this one time. Keep it clean and respectful people. If you have a personal bias against cops for whatever reason, dont post up in a thread honoring those who have fallen.

People need to watch their language on here though. I don't want to be the poo-nan who whines about everything, so just read what you say before you post it.
