So an automatic transmission is new technology? Tell that to the 1940s. Again your argument is weak. And I'd just like to point out how you just attempted to insult the manual transmission. The transmission that almost every performance car out there uses whether they're automated manuals or good ole fashioned stick and clutch ones. I'll let the fact that even though "better" transmissions are available, manual transmissions still sell and on some cars (Viper, Z06, ZR1, many exotics) still offer them as their sole choice of transmission speak for itself.

I've ran 13.0 1/4 miles in my 6 speed manual GTO. How will you do?

It was a friendly joke which you obviously took a bit too seriously.

gotcha

I am sorry I meant to say BETTER technology. Oh and the gtr is auto and is rediculously fast , and the m3 auto is alot better and faster than the manual. Why use a clutch and shift gears and risk skipping gears and destroying your car by getting really mad at a auto challenger racing you, when you could just get an auto and have as much fun without the worries. Keep saying my argument is weak when I win the argument.

fyi...the gtr is actually an automated manual...which bears closer relations to a manual than an Automatic....

So is the M3.

Again, your argument is weak. Not to mention mis-informed. You lose.

And considering you can't even bring facts to the table to argue, there's really no point in continuing our "discussion".

R/T Challenger

Martin Swanty in Kingman Az. has an R/T Challenger for $45,000. in their showroom. It's been sitting there for about a month or better now. I'm not sure what the sticker was on it, but there are obviously no takers at that price. Folks must be waiting on the Camaro.
