lmao yes. The biker community has to worry about it sometimes. Certain states are tougher about it than others.

I see now Asylum is Canadian which led to my correction of his post.

Just be sure to get the correct information out. There IS a difference between Canadian and American law.

It's all good, the info still needed to get out there, so us Americans know the difference! Its cool, at least IMO!

I figured youd get my PM Banshee Wasnt' trying to butt heads with you as I'm taking part in the OPP training now and this is all very fresh incoming knowledge. I'm trying to assist the community in what to do when these unfortunate things happen.

There are places in the states where State Troopers can pull you over for no reason what so ever and justify it as a routine stop to check your license registration ect.

In other places where this isn't allowed then like banshee said a whole slew of infractions are in place to make our job easier in finding out who's inside the vehicle.

in the UK, and in Canada, if you are driving you CAN be stopped as they are checking to see drivers license, insurance, registration ect.

The purpose of this post is not to dictate how you can go about getting stopped but rather WHAT TO DO when you get stopped.

You live in so cal and don't know this? Some jerk officers around here will pull you over for that. My dad got a ticket. I never have, even though my car is louder.

Been told this by a few police friends. I have yet to be pulled over since hearing that but it makes sense and all the points are valid. Good post asylum.
