We are holding out on replacing the Civic as long as possible then probably replacing it with the Cruze as long as it gets good ratings. We are at 199,500 on the Civic, shooting for another 100K. We do over 30K a year so trying for 3 more years... :fingers crossed:

Not safety. When you hear people talk about land barges, the Caprice is it. It's a massive car. GM's probably worried more about having to import Caprices from Australia. Offering it only as a PPV lessens the demand for the car.

GM could always do what Holden does with Buick Park Avenues in China...ship over the entire car in a CKD kit and build them at Oshawa or Spring Hill.

I would expect the Caprice to eventually be offered to civilians. It seems as though they're considering the idea right now.

Hey Fen, I saw a little white Chevy truck yesterday. The bed and cab all looked like it was one body panel, no separation from the doghouse to the bed. it has a Chevy emblem on the front with a hollow chrome bowtie in the center of a large chrome circle. It was smaller than the Colorado and looked aero-dynamic. Any idea what it was?
