That seems to be the general concensus from people who made it past a certain point - particularly people who played all the way through high school and only quit because they weren't going to college for music.

Thats why I've resolved to never quit. There's always time for a little jamming.

the concert band but we both play the guitar and tried to start a band once... then we decided that racing cars and playing sports were more fun

Oh, I still pick it up and play every once in awhile... just not in an orchestra anymore, and that's what I miss. I've been thinking about joining a local orchestra, but afraid that I'm not as good as I used to be.

Here's my baby - its the only thing I own that was valuable enough (sentimentally, not just monetarily) for me to get a VPP insurance policy on. Not to mention that it may even be one of a kind - I've never heard of another 3001MV with a rose brass bell, and Getzen doesn't seem to offer it as a regular option. I need to get ahold of them and see if it really is as rare as it seems.

Thats what I thought! My cousing had a band throughout high school and college, but they have since broken up... They were on the verge of making it too... They had just recorded a CD, and had one of the local stations playing one of the songs, but then broke up...
