I can't believe people would dislike a car or brand because they know a dick who owns one, that's crazy. I bet racism comes easy to people like that.C'mon, have some sense. |

Werd. Mercedes Benz cars aren't quite as graceful as BMWs. They're big heavy cars that seem to me to be more about luxury than sporting performance mixed with classy luxury. And the BMWs walk the line between being too stiff and too softly sprung with fantastic suspension tuning. Benz cars are usually too soft and not quite as involving to drive. Benz cars may have big engines with big power numbers but there's more to a sporting car than that.
Despite what douchebags who own them are like, BMWs are cool cars. I've driven the 335i a lot. The engine is great and the 6 speed manual is awesome. It has grip, feel and just all around great performance. It looks great in and out and feels good to drive. I have no doubt the new SS will be quicker in most aspects, but that doesn't mean the 335i is slow. If you consider t does low 13s stock and 12s with the Vishnu procede which is cheap as far as mods go, it's a badass car. It has great performance and looks and drives nice and handles well. |

^ apparently you've never driven a E63 or a CL55. Those are a hell of a lot more gracefull than any Bm will ever be.
And shadow. A 98 Supra, 2JZ-GTE TT would murder that car. Thats stock. No changes what so ever.

Fast and Furious. Supra BLOWS away the Ferrari.
But it was TWEAKED to the hilt. If I didn't NOW want an SS/RS LS3 Camaro, I would buy the BMW 135i. I like AMG MB, buy don't care for any other MB's. I prefer a BMW over a MB anyday. |

And even stock, the supra in FF was a 2JZ-GTE-TT. That thing is the most powerful engine toyota had ever developed. They originally wanted tho put it in the titan or some other pickup. but ended up throwing it in the Supra.

For the export model (America/Europe) Toyota upgraded the Supra turbo's engine (smaller, steel wheeled turbochargers, bigger fuel injectors, etc.). This increased the power output to 320 hp at 5600 rpm and 315 ft·lb at 4000 rpm. The turbocharged variant could achieve 0–60 mph in as low as 4.6 seconds and 1/4 mile in 13.1 seconds at 109 mph
Taken from Wikipedia on the supra. Those numbers are from the most recent supra (93-02) Considering an LS1 Camaro could break 12s, the supra doesn't scream ZOMG FASTEST CAR EVAR! I feel bad for Toyota if the most powerful engine they can develop only makes 320 hp with twin turbos... These are the wiki's numbers for the last gen. M3 * 333 hp / 262 ft·lbf * 0-60 mph - 5.2 seconds * 1/4 Mile - 13.3@104 mph[10] * Top Speed: 155 mph (electronically limited) * Top Speed: 185 mph (delimited and indicated, real speed is 176mph) * Skid Pad: 0.98g So yes, a supra would have the M3 on the strip, not by much, but the supra would have it. On a road course, it might be a different story. As I said before, a stock supra is not that impressive, their main attraction, imo, is the fact that they can put out big power if you are willing to throw money at the car. |

True enough, but I was trying to talk about stock numbers, because it seems like that's what the beast was referring to.
Edit: Beast, I would hardly call .2 seconds down the quarter mile getting murdered. |

Not the imported the right side drive version striaght from Japan pushes around 580hp. I've been to the headquarters in Japan, I got a tour and everything 2 years back, They have the first one that rolled off the line for japanese use. ans that thing on the dyno was amazing. I sear it got like 580. with like epic 600 Tourqe. Now thats a car to dream about.
