When you have this surgery they open up your chest and split your sternum to get to your heart...

Then they wire the bone back togther...

So if i got in a wreck it would hurt like hell lol, then they would have to open me back up and re wire it...

My son was helping me out of the couch yesterday and I twisted and he heard the sternum bone rub against each other where it is split and it freaked him out lol...
