I'm surprised you haven't been tracking it. Its a good thing to follow when building to make sure you don't gain or lose too much body fat.

Heh. Measure two things.

A) Waist at the belly button.

B) Neck just below the adams apple.

LMAO. 12.5 is pretty trim. 10% and below is considered athlete level (13% and below according to that website. It varies by site).

But, it is true that the tape method is not the most accurate means of measuring body fat. The most accurate (at home) way of measuring it is the 7 point caliper test. But, I doubt you have a body fat caliper just lying around. Heh!

Oh yeah - no real way to learn until you actually get out there and do it.

One thing to bear in mind (and its a problem I had) is that a lot of people are worried about burning out the clutch but really, you shouldn't be. You'll only damage the clutch if you give it a ton of gas and then slip the clutch only a tiny bit. However, it is very easy to slip the clutch TOO much when launching and therefore lurch or even stall. I had that problem all the time until my mom pointed out to me that really, you'll probably be almost to the other side of the intersection before your foot is all the way off the clutch.

Don't know if that helps at all.
