I dont see him or stoops going anywhere.

IMO especially on stoops part if its about money ? OU will show him the money.

I look for the irish getting someone else.

unlike a lot of Texas fans even though I dont like stoops I dont want him to leave.
I want competition every year so if my horns win they are kept at the top I dont want an Easy win by some Sorry Team.

besides I like watching stoops whine on the sidelines lol

The reasoning wasn't based on money but rather a new start... apparently Stoops has been bothered mentally by their inability to win big games... and really would enjoy the chance to start over somewhere new.

That does NOT mean that he IS going to leave... but that he is considering it.

Most of yall wont care to see this as for the TEXAS Fans im sure if you didnt get to go to the game but watch it on Tv you didnt get to See this part.

Here is a video from the Texas Game this last Saturday night I was at.
It was the last game at DKR for Colt Mccoy and the rest of the seniors of the 2009 season.
Colt became the all time winning QB in NCAA history as yall know.
With 2 minutes left in the game The Fans started chanting COLT FOR HEISMAN over and over and over.
After the game was over the seniors took there normal last victory walk around the stadium as all seniors do after the senior game.
Colt followed behind soaking up the Victory walk for the last time by himself. He then fired off the cannon himself something no other longhorn player has ever done then he beat on Big bertha the drum largest drum of the south.
After walking around the whole stadium The players went into the lockerroom for the last time at DKR

At minute 2:40 the stadium for the lasttime did the TEXAS.....Fight chant as the right Right side Screams TEXASSSSS and the left side Screams FIGHTTTTT !!!!!!!!!

Hearing that is AWSOME !!!!!!!! nothing like 1,696 people scream Texassssssss FIGHTTTTT !!!!!!!!!!

like I said if youre not a Texas fan you wont even care but for the TEXAS fans its what we love to see.

Good shots of Godzillatron as in our video scoreboard as well.

College football is better with players like Bradford McCoy and Tebow in it.... Next year is going to be strange.

People around Gator Nation are already having 'Tebow Fallout'....

Check out this interview with Urban.

After watching that video and seeing a coach get choked up shows how he knows he isnt losing a QB he is losing a leader and someone who represents the Team.

Zeus I have to agree with you . Ya know lastnight I watched the Titan and Texan game it kind of brought back memories with Vince Young 3 minutes left driving his team down and on 3rd and 9 looking for the pass then taking it himself for the 9 yards plus more and throwing his body to get those extra yards at other times. Those were great times.
We have had some Good Qb's at Texas however after thinking about it........After his Sophmore year Vince learned how to watch and break down game film and how to disect a defense with his eyes from who ?
A redshirt Freshman who grew up as a coaches Son " Colt McCoy. Ya know like Mack Brown says " Colt cam from a SMALL Town he was a 3 star qb if he were in a normal size school he would have been a 4 possibly a 5.
Texas Qb's from the past and I mean the Days that made us for who we are we had the guys like Bobby lane and of course 1969 Championship james street , Major Applewhite and now we have Colt McCoy.
CLASS PLAYERS. They wont be Mr Hollywood and they wont give you the fancy quotes they are just Simple , Good and the perfect player's that respresent this state.
I think sooner fans can say the same for Bradford. And im sure you can say the same for Tebow.

I know after seeing it in person ( that video ) we all knew that was only the last time Colt would Play at DKR but the end of his ride was near for the university of Texas.
Kind of Sad.... not something that im going to cry at lol but it has been a blast. After Vince we didnt know what to expect but Colt stepped in and took games into his own self and continued the saying " Never Give up a Game at Texas is never Done until the clock hits Zero we always have a change because WE ARE TEXAS " He wears that on his wrist band.

The question is will Brantley follow behind twbow ?
Will Jones follow behind Bradford ?
Will Gilbert follow behind McCoy ?

I dont know yeah Gilbert was a 5 star Qb out of Austin westlake however does he have the heart to represent Texas ?

Yeah you are right The players " MEN " of College football will move on and now its time to see who can step up and hopefully be the same type of people on and off the field.

I see Colt going to the NFL but I see him as someone who even if he does great quiting and becoming a coach or a mentor.
Hopefully it will be at Texas just as MAjor Applewhite has.

About the whole Meyer rumors...he stated that he will not be leaving Florida. He would like to stay there as long as they will allow him. I mean come on, why would you want to leave UF, when it has always been known as a great football program? Why go to ND? Sure they have had their good days, but those are far behind. I don't see that program rebounding for a while.

I dont see Stoops going there either. OU will throw the money out there faster than you can shake a stick.
Trust me they are not going back to the blake days.

All thing's considered, I think that it will be Cincy/Boise's Coach.... then Stoops... Then (call me crazy) Nick Saban.

Best coaching job in the U.S. Florida isn't. Good one for sure, but don't kid yourself. USC is the tops. Sunshine, beaches, Cal., Celebs, hot women, Emperror status, recruits. So much stuff to do you can't do it all.

Much as I hate USC, it would be a pretty damn good coaching gig.

I didn't say it was the best job, its the best program. Name a better program right now that Florida? Can't do it. You might be able to find one on a comparable level, but nothing better.

If every team was playing at 100% and winning every game, the best Job's would be USC - Notre Dame - Michigan - just based on history.

Now in Today's world that turns into....

USC, UF, Texas, Bama, LSU, OU, and Ohio State.
