Yeah... took long enough to get them finished...

Also thinking about rounding the edges on the throttle blades a bit to reduce turbulence... still haven't made up my mind on that...

I can't argue with that logic. You'd try to get her in a Buick though. lol

Oh, that won't slow things down any. That would just be something as part of the final tuning phase, which is a little ways off anyway. Still have to get the bike actually running.

Heh. It sure is. Its the car that keeps pulling me away from the Camaro. The mentallity is that I'll have the bike for when I want to go OMGWTFBBQ. I'd love to have a sleak cruiser for a DD.

P.S. - I'd love one in Honduras Maroon, with black leather bench seating and a floor shifter like you'd see in a pickup truck. A fuel injected 350 sbc, with a 5 speed tranny and a nice smooth yet roll-resistant suspension. Plain jane steel rims with baby moons and vanity rings, wrapped in some nice rubber. GSX hood and spoiler, but not the hood mounted tac.

Not like its slow though... 12.5 to 12.7 in the 1/4 stock. Pretty good for a 650 that will pull 50 mpg on the highway on 87 octane, using a carburetor.

I figure once I get it rejetted and tuned properly, with the intake mods I'm looking at and the exhaust I'm planning on ordering, and get all the fluids replaced with synthetics it'll run 12.3-12.4 or so. If I went straight to the 4-1 instead of the 4-2 (4-1 is better peak power at the loss of some lower rpm power - good for racing but not as good for the street) and individual filters and jetted accordingly I might even be able to get it into the 11.9-12.0 range. Not really looking for a drag bike though. Just want it fast enough to a) have fun with and b) get me out of the way of cars when I need to.
