Still sitting. Got the carb parts on order though (147.80? *swipes credit card like a good little robot*) and they should be in around tuesday or wednesday. All luck holding, it will be fired for the first time in god knows how long (at least two years) next saturday.

A big project I was working on kinda blew up this week, so it's been crazy. Other than that, it's all good.

Yep - it is Friday. Going to an album release party that a friend of mine's band is throwing. Should be fun.

After that, this weekend is paint/reassemble weekend on the carbs for everything except the bottom end. Still need to wait for the rebuilt components on that.

Yep yep... for the carbs at least.

The bike in general has a lot more work to go. Will need every fluid replaced, and a complete re-tune. And then we're going to have to weld the swingarm in place, fab solid struts to replace the shocks/springs, move the rear fender, mount the tail light/license plate, install the new headlight, and paint (everything).

Hopefully it'll be done over winter break though...

Sounds like a fun project. Kinda makes me want to rebuild a carb in the kitchen--it's been a while.

LMAO - four carbs, thank you very much.

But I saved myself a bunch of money... Just a little under 200 bucks including all cleaners and replacement parts - and the cheapest price I could find for rebuild service was 480.
