Lol, and neither is comparing the slow GT. It has what? like 325hp? the current one? How is it fair to compare something at 422hp to it? That's what I don't get. Wait till the new Mustang GT comes out and is at the 400 mark. I will say right now, it will be one fast car if they built it anything like the Terminator. Either way, I am not a fan of the GT. I am a huge fan of the GT500 on the other hand though.

I see your point, but that's something Ford decided to do, keep it at the low hp, when they did their update, knowing the SS was going to be above 400...but I see your point, and MANY ppl on here, me included want to see a z/28!!! Now I HOPE its a supercharged 8, rather than a twin 6....but...we will wait and see, if they do come out with it...

I agree. All in fun. I just notice that 98% of the people that are members on this forum take things way too serious. Now, if I say something bad about the camaro, I will be warned or banned, for just stating an opinion, or playfully joking. However, if someone talks smack about cars I like, it's fine, and "others" will join in.

Ok, but Ford did not compare the GT to the SS. That's what individuals here do. That's like me comparing a 5-6 year old Terminator to the SS. The Terminator would win. See...that's a closer comparison. That's if driver talent is equal of course, and still, it'd be hard for them to lose.

I really can careless about the Z28 to be honest. I just hope they make it look half way decent, and don't wreck the hood trying to make it look sick.

It doesn't bother me one bit if you don't like the Camaro. To each their own. It bothered me that she was excited about her new purchase and you come out with your bah hum bug blah blah blah slow comment.

You want a GT500? Go buy one and I'll be happy for you too.

Well, I mean, its a natural comparison v6 stang to v6 'maro, and ss to gt...It has ALWAYS been the comparison throughout the cars histories...Its not something that is unusual to be compared, IMO, its a natural comparison, regardless of the hp... And the GT500 is Supercharged where the SS isn't thats how that's not a 'fair' comparison.. The other 2 comparisons of 6 to 6 and GT to SS are motor to motor... But I see where you are coming from the the hp argument...Mine is that its a natural comparison due to the history of them, and the fact that there are no power adders to either..
