I just heard here on the radio here during my lunch its up to Urban Myers wife if they leave florida and he takes the ND job.

The question is if you were offered the job of ND would you take it ?

lol it's funny. Over there you're hearing about Urban leaving, and Over here we are hearing about Stoops leaving. I don't think anyone is going anywhere, but even if Urban leaves UF will be in good shape. Urban doesn't call any calls on Offense or Defense, and our DC is a head coach in waiting.


And no way I take that job. Urban talked about coming to UF because of A. the SEC, and B. This is where the best recruits are.


Plus recruits have to have like a 3.5 GPA or something to get into notre dame.... and lets be honest. That would kill a lot of good recruiting lol.

No indeed. ND is one of those programs with its history hanging over its head. The fans and admin expect to be in line for a NC just about every year which probably isn't going to happen.

I'd be really surprised if Strong doesn't get promoted up if Meyer leaves. Based on the limited stuff I've seen on him, I think he'd make a heck of a head coach.

He will be one HELL of a head coach once he gets there. And he will. We almost lost him this past off-season, had to give him a raise. I think he's the highest paid assistant coach in CFB.

I don't want Urban to leave, his offensive style and recruiting skills are the reason that we have won 2 out of the last 3 Championships.... but Charlie Strong would do excellent given the chance to take the position. Between you and me, I think the only reason he hasn't left yet is because our Athletic Director has promised Strong the job.

He could have gotten as much somewhere else, he wasn't making huge bucks till he got his new contract last year... If your talking about Urban.

Again, let's see how he does without Tebow. They've been joined at the hip since he got there. Utah did pretty damn good after he left. Maybe he wasn't the integral part of Utahs success to begin with, and then got Tebow because Timmy wasn't about to go to a Shula run Alabama.

Man no wonder we've only won 4 games. The combined record of the teams that have beaten us is 53-9. Not exactly a good schedule for a team rebuilding.
