Hey Roxy - is isopropyl alcohol safe for sanitizing wounds (92% concentration) or do I need to find something different?

Just use mild soap and water... no hydrogen peroxide or alcohol. Kills bad germs, but kills good rebuilding skin cells too.

Hi Z!
Even considering that the wound was inflicted by a screw driver that is coated in days worth of grease and carb cleaner?

As long as you wash out the wound well, it should be fine. I never use hydrogen peroxide or alcohol to clean wounds due to the tissue necrosis it can cause. If you clean it well with soap and water and then put antibiotic ointment on the wound, that should suffice.

If the cut is really bad, please, by all means, go to the ER!!
